Stadium students win photo contest


Stadium High School recently took first place in a 2014 state photography competition.

There were 4,100 entries from across the state. The following Stadium students placed in their respective categories:

Sarah Johnson, first place, documentary; Lauren Schultz, second place, documentary; Emma Joy Miller, second place, color; Brandon Hamilton, third place, architecture; Gateon Abels, fourth place, still life; Max Reynolds-Rivera, fifth place, camera phone.

Johnson is eligible for the Best in Show award with her documentary entry. The top three images in each category will travel with the exhibit to various locations, including the Tacoma Art Museum and Seattle Art Museum.
