Olympia Police arrested a man accused of making sexual advances toward two boys at Briggs YMCA, according to spokeswoman Laura Wohl.

David L. Cawthorne, 21, was arrested for suspicion of first-degree child molestation at his home in the 6200 block of Fair Oaks Road SE in Thurston County at about 7 p.m. Sunday, Wohl wrote in a news release. He was booked into Thurston County Jail.

On Saturday, two boys, ages 9 and 10, said a man had approached them in the YMCA locker room, and made sexual advances.

The man fled the gym before police arrived.

Wohl said the case is still under investigation.
