Video shows train carrying JBLM vehicles crashing into stalled semi-truck

A YouTube video showing a collision between a train carry JBLM vehicles and a stalled semi in California.


A train that plowed through a stalled semi-truck in California on May 25 was carrying military equipment from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, according to a Fresno TV station.

The train was nearly a mile long and was carrying hundreds of vehicles including Stryker armored vehicles. Labels on the vehicles indicated the vehicles were destined for Fort Irwin, California.

A motorist who witnessed the crash recorded the collision with his phone. The train can be seen plowing through the truck’s container, which was filled with trail mix. The video uploaded to YouTube had more than 240,000 late on the evening of May 26.


According to reports the driver tried to signal the train conductor before the incident. Nobody was injured in the accident according to Fresno's KFSN.
