Friends, families will honor Hilltop slaying victims

Staff writerMay 28, 2014

Friends and relatives of two Tacoma residents killed Friday in a Hilltop house last week will release balloons in their honor Saturday at Titlow Beach.

The ceremony for Andrew Geissler, 25, and Denyse Marshall, 60, will begin at 4 p.m.

Pierce County prosecutors have charged Aaron Livingston, 38, with murdering Geissler and Marshall. They say Livingston was angry because he believed Geissler was having an affair with his ex-girlfriend, Julia Wheeler.

Livingston pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder for allegedly trying to kill Wheeler during the same attack.

Supporters of Geissler also have set up a fund to help his family raise money for his funeral. Donations can be made at gofundme. com/9ij4k8.
