Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Giselle”

With Peter Boal’s reconstruction of original choreography and Jerome Kaplan’s luxurious 19th-century design, PNB’s “Giselle” takes the stage again for two weekends to tell the story of the peasant girl who falls fatally in love with a heartless cad. 7:30 p.m. May 30, 31, June 5, 6,7; 2 p.m. May 31 and June 7; 1 p.m. June 8. $25-$174. Rainier Ringers bells

Free Native American day at Tacoma Art Museum

Tacoma Art Museum hosts its fifth annual free Northwest Native Community Celebration this Saturday, featuring dance, music, fashion, arts and crafts from the Puyallup and other Coastal Salish tribes, plus hands-on art activities and free gallery exhibitions including Matika Wilbur’s photographic documentary of all recognized U.S. tribes. Book art at the Collins Library

The fourth annual members’ exhibit of the Puget Sound Book Artists association will open next Thursday with a reception at the Collins Memorial Library at the University of Puget Sound. On view: 57 handmade books by 39 regional artists in a variety of media and styles. Reception 5-7 p.m. June 5.
