Runners look sexy, according to shoe company survey

Tacoma News TribuneJune 4, 2014

Running might be the best way to make yourself look more appealing – at least to other runners – according to a presumably unscientific survey conducted by Seattle-based Brooks Running Company.

Released Wednesday, National Running Day, the survey says 76 percent of runners believe “people look sexy when they’re running.”

This might explain why 75 percent of men and 68 percent of women said running together led to more sex.

More than half of the people surveyed said they’d used running as a pick-up line.

Brooks' second "Run Happy Nation Report" also showed that 83 percent of runners believe they come up with their best ideas while running. The News Tribune was unable to confirm that Brooks' marketing department hatched the idea for this survey while they were running.
