Pierce County chiropractor suspended for alleged sexual misconduct with patient

Staff writerJune 11, 2014

A Pierce County chiropractor’s license was suspended Tuesday after allegations of sexual misconduct with a patient during an appointment.

Dale Clark is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with the patient in February 2013, according to a June 9, 2014 state Department of Health report that outlines the alleged violations.

He called the patient after to apologize, saying he would do future chiropractic treatment for free, which the woman took him up on in June 2013, when she had back pain and no insurance, according to the report.

Clark allegedly touched the woman inappropriately during that appointment, the state said.

Accused of unprofessional and sexual misconduct in the state report, Clark’s license is suspended, and he has 20 days to request a hearing and respond to the charges.
