State health insurance: Washington Health Benefit Exchange seeking committee members

You've got your opinions about Washington's health plan, and now here's a chance to put those opinions, and your expertise, to work.

The Washington Health Benefit Exchange is currently recruiting nominees for its Advisory Committee.

According to a release Monday, staff are seeking a broker representative and small business representatives. The nominees should have experience in the health care field.

Interested parties should submit nominations with a short biography to exchange staff via the exchange email address: Please specify for which category you are submitting a nomination (broker or small business).

The deadline for submitting nominations is Wednesday (June 18).

The exchange is also recruiting nominees for most of its technical advisory committees (TAC), as the current committee terms will expire in July. 

Openings exist on the following technical advisory committees: health equity, agent and brokers, navigator, SHOP and outreach.
