Staff writerJune 19, 2014

Puyallup police are searching for a man who held up a payday loans business Thursday morning.

The armed robber, outfitted in a fake mustache and beanie, walked into the business in the 4300 block of South Meridian about 9:20 a.m. and demanded money. He fled south on foot.

Nobody was injured in the holdup. Police are using a tracking dog in the area.

The robber is described as a black man 20 to 30 years old wearing a thin red shirt. Anyone who spots him is asked to call 911.
