WILDLIFE: Stream Team to hold guided bat walk

The Olympia-Thurston Stream Team is hosting a guided walk Friday that will focus on bats.

Local bat expert Greg Falxa will lead this bat talk and walk. Participants can learn about bat habitat needs, basic bat biology and their unique life strategies.

The bat walk will go around Capitol lake, running from 7:30-9 p.m.

The event will take start at Traditions Café and World Folk Art, 300 Fifth Ave. SW Olympia. No registration is necessary to take part in the walk.
