Agency ready to unveil Browns Point design

June 22, 2014

The latest design for Browns Point Lighthouse Park renovation will be unveiled at a public meeting June 30.

The agency has been considering three design options: an active park, a historic park or a passive park.

The 4-acre park in Northeast Tacoma offers visitors waterfront access for beachcombers, fishermen, sunbathers and picnickers.

Metro Parks Tacoma will host the meeting, starting at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at St. Matthew Episcopal Church parish hall, 6800 Eastside Drive NE, Tacoma.
