Authorities took a man into custody after a short pursuit Sunday morning in Milton.

The incident happened before 10 a.m., when King County sheriff’s deputies said a man drove around a locked gate onto school property for unknown reasons. The man then left and fled from police when officers tried to stop him.

During the pursuit, the man rolled his vehicle after hitting one of the patrol vehicles, deputies said.
