Fans of the Red Hot on Tacoma's Sixth Avenue are rejoicing.

The popular hot dog joint opened in its expanded location late Wednesday morning, just in time for the lunch crowd.

The Red Hot moved next door, to the space formerly occupied by The Wedding Bell, at 2914 Sixth Ave.

The move gives the restaurant about three times the space of its previous location and allows for an expanded kitchen and more beers and ciders on tap. According to The Red Hot's Facebook page, 24 taps are running.
