Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Kent hit-and-run

A 40-year-old Kent man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday night after a hit-and-run accident near the 10500 block of Southeast Kent Kangley Road.

Police say the man was struck while crossing the road about 10 p.m. by a white 90s sedan. He was treated at the scene by emergency personnel before being transported to an area hospital.

The driver of the vehicle fled, and police were searching for a suspect late Saturday evening.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 911.
