Pot retailer Rainier overcoming hurdles

Rainier, at 3111 S. Pine St., is one of two Tacoma recreational marijuana retailers whose license was approved by the state late Monday. Spokesperson Paul Schrag said the business owners are aren't disappointed to not be open on the first day of sales in Washington on Tuesday and are "in it for the long haul." A lack of supply will push the store's opening to sometime in July.
