B y the numbers The number of inches of snow that fell at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park from July 1, 2013-June 30. That is 20.6 percent less than the last snow year’s total of 744 inches. The park averages 641 inches of snow a year. The record high snowfall was 1,122 inches that fell during 1971-72. The record low is 313 inches, measured in 1939-40. As of Friday morning, there were 65 inches on the ground.
