5 wounded in early-morning shooting near Renton

The scene in the 12600 block of Renton Avenue South after a Sunday morning shooting wounded five people. One victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Five people were injured early Sunday morning in a shooting in Skyway, firefighters said.

One of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened about 4 a.m. in the 12600 block of Renton Avenue South.

It appears that victims fled to multiple locations after the shooting, police said.

Investigators were processing the scene early Sunday and had yet to identify a suspect.
