If you think about it, we live in boxes. So maybe it doesn’t sound so farfetched to live in a cargo shipping container.
Three Sundays before Christmas 1997, Tacoma Mayor Brian Ebersole did what dignitaries in parades do. He climbed into the back of an old classic car to wave at the crowds lining downtown streets for the annual Christmas parade.
Do you know that building in downtown Tacoma with the tree growing out of it?
When a developer tells you he bought an 87-unit apartment building in November, started converting 17 units to condominiums in December and plans to start selling them at an open house Saturday, one thought comes to mind: “In this market? The guy must be crazy.”
