Before you light up the night sky with fireworks for this Fourth of July, make sure you know your local regulations.
Fireworks are banned in several South Sound cities, and other communities restrict the times “safe and sane” fireworks can be discharged. Local law enforcement agencies will be out in force, and violators can face hefty fines.
Fireworks are banned in Tacoma, Federal Way, Fircrest, Lacey, Ruston and Des Moines.
