MINNEAPOLIS – Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck clenched his teeth and grimaced.
Minneapolis – Those of us in the commentary and analysis biz sometimes are guilty of overreacting either way to big wins or big losses. So I want to avoid knee-jerk excess in describing the Seattle Seahawks’ futility on Sunday.
MINNEAPOLIS – As if the 9-1 Minnesota Vikings needed to rub in anything beyond their total dominance of the Seahawks in a 35-9 win Sunday, they made an effort to showcase former Seattle guard Steve Hutchinson, whom they hired away after the 2005 season.
Minneapolis – The Seattle Seahawks’ offense looked like it turned a corner against Arizona last week.
MINNEAPOLIS – Simple question to Seahawks coach Jim Mora: You’re going into Minnesota to play a good Vikings team ... what do you want to see from your guys?
Minneapolis – Can you blame Brett Favre for backsliding and again coming out of retirement to play for the Minnesota Vikings this year?

RENTON – With starting running back Julius Jones likely out with a bruised lung for this week’s game against Minnesota, the Seattle Seahawks will turn to the running back tandem of Justin Forsett and Louis Rankin to carry the load Sunday.
Renton – After reviewing video of his team’s 31-20 loss to Arizona, Seattle Seahawks Jim Mora had a long list of concerns he submitted to the league’s officiating office on Monday for their consideration.
