JBLM airshow features Thunderbirds, Golden Knights, ‘old warbirds,’ too

The Air Force Thunderbirds flight team and the Army Golden Knights parachutists are headlining the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Airshow and Warrior Expo this weekend. This year’s airshow, the first in four years, is to feature an entirely military aerial display, unlike years past. Performances will also include the FA-18 fighter jet, the C-17 Globemaster cargo plane, a Coast Guard helicopter, and World War II-era planes including the B-17 and B-25 bombers.

EpiPen monopoly is not fair game

A drug company thought it was being magnanimous this week by offering an EpiPen Savings card and a Patient Assistance Program for those who qualify. But for the 40 million Americans who have severe allergies, the $600 sticker price is still too high.
