Healed, more-rested Wilson and re-loaded Seahawks host Panthers

These last two weeks have been Russell Wilson’s first two since September without trainers waking him in the middle of the night for therapy on his injured legs. He’s running a lot like he did before the high-ankle sprain and sprained knee. That and the five starters Seattle is getting back from injuries make this a different Seahawks team hosting Carolina Sunday night compared to last weekend at Tampa Bay.

Well wishes, warnings as Pierce County elections end

Republicans will take control of Pierce County government. Sen. Pam Roach will take a seat on the County Council. These and other developments merit a few reflections before 2016 election winners become office holders next month.
