Checks of anglers Monday on opening day of fishing on the Columbia River showed anglers caught more sockeye and chinook than steelhead from Kalama to Vancouver. Downstream from Longview, the catch was mostly steelhead, a few chinook but no sockeye, state creel checks showed. Read more...
