Gig Harbor man named winner of Safari Club International award
Gary Tennison of Gig Harbor is the 2008 winner of the Safari Club International Regional Representative of the Year Award.
The award honors one of SCI’s 38 regional representatives who is recognized by chapters in his region as a leader and a resource.
Tennison was born in Washington in 1945. He started hunting deer with his dad at age 10, and has been an avid hunter ever since. In 1987, Tennison joined SCI and the Northwest chapter. For the past 14 years he has been on the Northwest chapter board of directors.
The award was presented during SCI’s recent Hunters Convention in Reno.
