The site has a section dedicated to outdoor and adventure gear, where you can find write-ups on items from avalanche beacons to jackets, mittens and helmets. Most reviews feature the “quick and dirty,” including price and where you can buy one, reasons “why they rock” and a “seat-of-the-pants” rating.
