Most content on TheNewsTribune.com is available for viewing free of charge for up to 21 days. After a story expires from the site, you can access it using one of the following third-party (paid) online archive services.
Searching and browsing on archive sites is free. Viewing complete articles requires registration on the respective site and payment via credit card. Articles are placed in archives within 14-21 days of appearing in the TNT.
Articles from about 1992 to the current date are stored via our third-party online archive providers. Archives contain text only; there are no photos or graphics in the archive. TNT photo reprints are available via MyCapture.
The News Tribune content prior to 1992 can be found on microfilm at the main branch of Tacoma Public Library, 11th and Tacoma Ave. South, in the Special Collections area on the second floor.
Please note that the majority of Associated Press content expires from the TNT's site two weeks after it is published. If you have previously read or linked to an online AP article and are getting a 404 (page not found) page, you can usually find the story at www.ap.org.
