Fans of British comedy troupe Monty Python will want to make it a date when the iconic cast of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin come together for the stage production “Monty Python Live (Mostly).” It is being telecast at cineplexes across the country at 11:30 a.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. It will be playing at the Galaxy Uptown, 4649 Point Fosdick Drive NW, Gig Harbor, Century 16 - Federal Way, 1928 South Commons, Federal Way, Regal Martin Village, 5400 Martin Way E., and Century Olympia, 625 Black Lake Blvd. SW. Olympia’s Capital Lakefair’s final day caps off with fireworks display
Make plans to head to Olympia for the annual Capital Lakefair, taking place on the shores of Capitol Lake. There will music, rides, a Sunday night’s fireworks display. Hours for the final day are noon-midnight Sunday. It’s a full day of festival fun at Heritage Park and the downtown Olympia area. Admission is free; there are fees for the rides, games and food. Seattle Chinatown Seafair Parade will take over International District
As Seattle’s SeaFair gears up, make plans to take in the Chinatown Seafair Parade at 7 p.m. Sunday. Sponsored by he Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the parade is filled with traditional performances, floats and elaborate decorations. It is being held in the International District, 10th Avenue South and South Jackson Street to South Lane Street in Seattle and it’s free. Arrive early to stake out your spot for a evening of fun.
