Enjoy family time at Meeker Mansion Family Day
Take the family out for some local history fun at the Meeker Mansion Family Day on Sunday. It includes pioneer games, storytelling, arts and crafts, dress-up and a tour of the museum. The theme is “Know Your Roots,” and you will have an opportunity to make a family tree.

Philippine festival features traditions and exhibits at Seattle Center
Celebrate Philippines independence this weekend at the Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival at Seattle Center. Enjoy traditional dance, music and historical exhibits. Sponsored by the Filipino Cultural Heritage Society of Washington, the festivities are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. Admission is free.
