Fly-In, Drive-In Movie at the Tacoma Narrows Airport, 1110 26th Ave. NW, Gig Harbor. There will also be a paper airplane contest, ice cream, popcorn and of course the screening of an outdoor movie starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. “Art, Edibles & Sustainable Culture” in Swan Creek Park, a temporary exhibit that will explore the park landscape from the points of view of about a dozen area artists and their students. Free opening day events 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. Enter Swan Creek Park near the intersection of East 42nd Street. and East Roosevelt Avenue the south side of the entrance is a community garden.
