Art forms will mix alongside patrons at the Tacoma City Ballet’s annual Mid-Winter Soirée this Saturday. The 21+ social arts event at the company’s historic Merlino Building ballroom will feature performance and visual art, plus refreshments and champagne.
Artists include soprano Erin Guinup, who’ll sing excerpts from Orff’s “Carmina Burana,” folk-rock trio Julia Massy and the Five Finger Discount, pianist Nate Dybevik, glass artists Merv Frye and William Carson, plus original choreography from Tacoma City Ballet’s director Erin Ceragioli, assistant director Joel Myers, Travis Goldman, Jenae Plaisance and Kyle Johnson, performed by company dancers.
