“Trocks” parody ballet with grace
If you’ve never seen the pas-de-quatre from “Swan Lake” danced by four male ballerinas hamming it up on pointe, you need to get yourself to Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. Decked out in tutus and outrageous makeup, the all-male cast of the “Trocks” turns ballet on its head with hilarious antics and satire, yet with grace and technique any female ballerina would envy. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Pantages Theater, 901 Broadway, Tacoma. Tickets are $29-$85. 253-591-5894, broadwaycenter.org.
Never miss a local story.
