Disguise-wearing singer/songwriter Sia will open her North American tour at 7 p.m. Sept. 29 at KeyArena in Seattle.
The five-time Grammy Award nominee and multi-platinum selling artist is back with her North American “Nostalgic For The Present” tour, her first in five years. The 22-city tour kicks off Sept. 29 at KeyArena, with special guests Miguel and AlunaGeorge.
Known for such hits as “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” and her recent single “Cheap Thrills,” the native Australian’s powerhouse vocals have received rave reviews from around the world. Her recent her critically-acclaimed Coachella performances were “one of the greatest moments in Coachella’s 17-year history,” according to Yahoo Music. Sia released her latest album, “This is Acting,” earlier this year. The New Yorker said it was “the platonic ideal of a modern pop album.”
The songwriter has also teamed up with other acts throughout her career as a guest vocalist or writer on such hits as Flo Rida’s “Wild Ones,” David Guetta’s “Titanium,” and Rihanna’s “Diamonds.” In recent years, she has taken to performing with large wigs as a disguise or using actors and dancers to perform in her music videos and live shows.

Grammy Award-winning recording artist, producer and songwriter Miguel’s 2015 album, “Wildheart,” was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category, and its lead single, “Coffee,” was nominated in the Best R&B Song category.
AlunaGeorge, comprised of singer/lyricist Aluna Francis and producer George Reid, released the single “I’m In Control” earlier this year, featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan.
