It's no secret:
I love sandwiches.
I love barbecue.
Never miss a local story.
I'm not proud of it, but I've been known to eat at chain fast-food restaurants.
Quiznos' new smokehouse beef brisket sandwich smoked me out of my anti-fast-food closet.
So, how is it?
Better than Arby's. Tender, thin-sliced meat that actually tasted like beef, with slices of cheddar and tangy sauce.
But McDonald's McRib sandwich has nothing to worry about, especially since Quiznos' new sandwich costs $7.99.
Even though McDonald's now-you-eat-it-now-you-don't preternatural pork sandwich may never have gotten closer to an actual barbecue pit than most vegans, the McRib rules.
Don't believe it?

My sentiments exactly.
