"Norm's staff ?'s Puget Sound Pizza," one hand-written sign in the window proclaims.
"Cantwell's staff ?'s Puget Sound Pizza," says another, adding "Best in Tacoma!"
The woman who answered the telephone at Puget Sound Pizza today said staffers for both Congressman Norm Dicks and Sen. Maria Cantwell are democratic in their pizza preferences, ordering all kinds.
Never miss a local story.
"They're decent tippers," she added, diplomatically.
(Curiously absent is the preference of the staff of Tstate Rep. Dennis Flannigan, a known gourmand whose campaign signs hang with Dicks', Cantwell's and other Demos.)
Meanwhile, down St. Helen's, at Pierce County Republic Party HQ, campaign signs for Mike McGavick, Dave Reichert and Steve Cofchin betray no culinary preferences. I wonder if their staffs have tried the poppers at Club Silverstone next door.
