This just in from the Washington Restaurant Association:
Olympia - More than 50 percent of restaurants added healthy food options in the last year, according to the 2006 Pacific Northwest Hospitality Industry Wage, Benefit and Menu Report.
The report, produced every other year, is considered the authority on trends and economics in the Northwest hospitality industry.
Unfortunately, the report costs $75 for WRA members and $250 for non-members. Any WRA members out there want to share info on some of those healthful food items you've added to your menus?
Any diners care to comment on the healthful foods you've discovered on restaurant menus in the past year?
Never miss a local story.
Which healthful foods do you want to read about in the WRA's next report?
I want to see Brussels sprouts on menus. I dig spaghetti squash, too.
