Details: All things chocolate invade the Proctor District this week. Among the events are chocolate giveaways and cupcake decorating at Knapp's, not to mention a fondue party at Metropolitan Market (sign me up).

The beer looks like this: Paulaner lager, Warsteiner Oktoberfest, Warsteiner Dunkel and Snoqualmie Brewing Harvest Moon German Style Festbier (among others). Wiener races (daschunds, that is) happen on Sunday. There will be music, too.

Instead of creating a stand-alone Oktoberfest, they have joined the Enumclaw Oktoberfest where they will reigning over the Oktoberfest beer garden this weekend. The Enumclaw Oktoberfest runs October 9-10 at the Enumclaw Exposition Center, formerly the King County Fairgrounds." Looks like a wide range of beers on tap, including 7 Seas Brewing from Gig Harbor, Harmon from Tacoma and Fish from Olympia.
