Gordon Naccarato, owner of downtown Tacoma's Pacific Grill and a companion catering business, is working on the menu and concept right now. Naccarato also said he has hired former McCormick and Schmick's executive chef Brian Nathanson to oversee catering at Pacific Grill. The cafe inside the museum is reported to have a spectacular view. Also, just like with the Museum of Glass, the cafe will be open to the public. You don't have to pay museum admission to dine there.
If you're not familiar with the LeMay Museum, then you've been under a rock or you don't live anywhere near Tacoma. The giant emporium of all things cars - called America's Car Museum - will open adjacent to the Tacoma Dome. Here are a few stories from our archives: A story from 2007 with background about the museum's creation. Here's an entertaining read from last October about the first cars rolling into the museum.
