IPA Festival at the Parkway: The festival starts at 11 a.m. and continues through last call. See the band perform at 3 p.m. in the beer garden. Burgers and ribs will be grilled out front of the bar.

The Swiss beer dinner: Four courses paired with six beers at the Swiss Pub's beer dinner with Mac and Jack's - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. Dinner tickets can be purchased for $40 at the pub. On the menu - scallops ceviche, braised short ribs and a porter float. Check out more information here.
