The Washington state high-school golf tournaments concluded Wednesday around the state, and there was a lot of action involving some Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula residents.

It was another memorable night for water polo fans at the Curtis High School pool in University Place, as fans of the Gig Harbor Tides and Curtis Vikings programs filled the stands and lustily made noise as their teams battled for state championship.
