CHEERS to the employee and/or shopper who returned my purse to the service counter at the new Safeway store. I discovered I'd left it in the small shopping cart at the return area in the middle of parking lot when I arrived home. Why didn't I just put a big note on it saying, "Take me?" Money, credit cards, checkbook, lipstick (very important), etc., all intact. I love you, honest person.

CHEERS to the post office letter carriers and patrons who supported the “Nice Day for a Drive’” food drive. Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank shelves will be refilled, and local families in need will receive much-needed food boxes as a result of your generosity.

CHEERS to Waypoint Church on the Key Peninsula for allowing Key Peninsula Cooperative Preschool to have its second annual garage sale fundraiser in its parking lot on May 19. The sale raises money for a scholarship fund to help make preschool possible for all children.
