Appellation: Columbia Valley
Ste. Michelle doubled production and lowered the price of its Riesling off this longtime estate vineyard from the 2012 vintage. Better yet, there’s been no drop in quality, having earned our top rating for the second straight vintage. Fascinating aromas of minerality, apricot, apple and white pepper don’t disappoint on the palate. There’s richness on the entry with delicious ripe pear and apple flavors, backed by river rock and finished with gorgeous juiciness that more than balances the residual sugar (2 percent). Rated "Outstanding" by Great Northwest Wine. (12.5 percent alcohol)
