For most soldiers in the Warrior Transition Battalion, life has taken an unexpected turn. They often are too injured to serve with their unit by the time they arrive at the Fort Lewis battalion, which serves soldiers with long-term or complex medical problems. That inevitably means lots of questions: about life, about morality, about spirituality.
