▪ Johnson, Stone & Pagano, an accounting firm in Fircrest, has announced the addition of Joyce Pope as manager of human resources. She will be responsible for the execution of firm strategy and policy in areas of human resources and general administration. Pope has a master’s degree from the University of Washington and 16 years human resources and benefits experience in law firms in Seattle.
▪ Thomas Dashiell has joined the law firm of Davies Pearson in Tacoma as an associate. He will practice in the areas of commercial litigation, general business, real property, real estate transactions and probate. Dashiell received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and his law degree from Willamette University College of Law.
▪ Hanna Hill has been appointed program director and Mary Brickle has been named executive assistant with the nonprofit Rebuilding Together South Sound. Hill previously was home repair coordinator with Tacoma-Pierce County Habitat for Humanity. Brickle previously served with AmeriCorps and most recently was case manager and administrative coordinator in the homeowner services department atTacoma-Pierce County Habitat for Humanity.
▪ The nonprofit, Rebuilding Together South Sound, has also announced the appointment of new members to its board of directors. Carolyn Cereghino from BECU, Kathryn Janker with BNY Mellon, and Scot Savary representing ProBuild will serve on the board for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. New officers are Debra Fayne as board president, David Johnson is first vice president and Caitlin Back is second vice president.
Other board members include Susan Schmitz, immediate past president; Kim Taylor, past president; Lauren Boulanger; Darren Dickerson; Alicia Lawver; Mark Mellum; Tom Motland; Teresa Stephenson; Nick Warden; and Malcolm Lindquist.
