▪ Joyce Glavish has joined JayRay of Tacoma as a senior adviser. She has more than 25 years of experience with issues communication and integration, especially in health care. Glavish most recently served as the regional director for marketing and communications for four hospitals and their affiliated clinics with CHI Franciscan Health. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
▪ Westy Ford has joined Novinium of Kent and will be part of the company’s new product-development group, handling engineering aspects related to new products in electrical cable rejuvenation. He also will provide lab and experimental support for key engineering projects. Ford most recently worked for Resolute Marine Energy, in Boston and earned a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston.
▪ Rae Iams, advanced registered nurse practitioner, has joined Digestive Health Specialists in Tacoma. Iams is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She will practice in the Puyallup and Sunrise areas and received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University. Iams has served patients in a variety of settings including emergency/urgent care, multispecialty clinic, specialty center, procedure center and as part of a primary care team.
