A 58-unit apartment complex could open by summer in Central Tacoma.
Allenmore Brownstones will include five three-story buildings and 60 off-street parking spaces along the 2300 block of South State Street.
Units will range from a 630-square-foot one bedroom unit for around $1,000 a month to a 1,300-square-foot three bedroom, two-and-a-half bath unit for $1,695, developer Claude Remy said.
Each unit will have quartz or granite countertops. Units on the southernmost end of the site are within two blocks of Irving Park and the start of the 5-mile-long Scott Pierson Trail, which runs parallel to state Route 16 and continues over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
Separately, the developer is proposing a two-story, 6,900-square-foot group home or student housing with communal living areas on the northern parcel. The architect on the project is Jon Graves.
