TACOMA: Animal control officers searching for dogs that attacked woman, pet
THE NEWS TRIBUNE
Published: July 22nd, 2008 01:00 AM
Tacoma police animal control officers were busy Monday in Northeast Tacoma trying to find two pit bulls that attacked a woman and her dog Friday night, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

Animal Control officers have checked their database to see if the dogs descriptions match other problem animals. (Each time an animal control officer responds to a complaint, the information is logged into the database.) The search revealed no matches, Fulghum said.

The officers have received a few tips after the attack was publicized in The News Tribune and on several Seattle television stations.
