THE NEWS TRIBUNE
Published: October 6th, 2008 12:30 AM
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Sunday on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma, police said.

Several people heard the 12:25 a.m. crash but no one got a good look at the vehicle, which drove away, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

The man who died, believed to be between 30 and 40, was struck somewhere between South 64th Street and South 72nd Street and dragged, he said.
