LAKEWOOD: Police seek witnesses to car crash that sent two people to hospitals

STACEY MULICK; The News Tribune
Lakewood police want to find anyone who saw a crash Friday night on Custer Road Southwest in which two people were hurt.

A black Toyota 4Runner crashed near Meadow Road Southwest just after 10:30 p.m. Friday, significantly injuring the driver and her passenger, police said Monday.

The driver, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, and the passenger, a man in his 60s, was treated at a local hospital, police Lt. Heidi Hoffman said.

Investigators want to talk with anyone who might have seen the vehicle before the crash. They believe at least one person saw the accident but left before officers arrived.

Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 253-588-8973 and refer to incident No. 08-333-1402.
