A magnitude 2.6 earthquake hit near Tacoma early Wednesday, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.
The temblor struck at 3:20 a.m. 2.1 miles southwest of Tacoma at a depth of just over 5 miles.
There were no reports of damage.
Other recent tiny quakes in the area include a magnitude 0.5 temblor near Eatonville on Monday and a magnitude 0.7 quake near Enumclaw on Friday.
