Detectives are asking the public to help find a Tacoma woman who has been missing since June.
The family of Mardelle Carmickle, 59, reported to police in August that they had not seen or heard from her in two months.
Tacoma police say it's unusual for the woman to not be in touch with her children, and that she has not had any previous disappearances.
Relatives visited her apartment downtown several times, and found no signs she has been there.
She doesn't drive, and isn't known to have a cell phone.
Carmickle suffers from medical conditions that require medication.
She's described as a white woman, 5 foot 7, 115 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information about Carmickle's whereabouts or disappearance is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
